Is there anyone here who play or have play Rohan Online before?

wants to know if its any good. before i start download the damn client again. ... long story short i have to redownload the damn thing from scratch after 1 days waiting ....

I never play it but it looks just like another so call F2P with cash shop game from the fareast. Y'know one of those that you spend a couple of hours downloading the client, play for a day or two and never touch it again.

It's meh. Nice graphics for a F2P game, decent grindan , confusing quests. It's not that bad. The guilds seem interesting , especially if you are a guild leader. I might give it a try again sometime when I'm bored. Try it, maybe you'll like it.

This was my exact experience with Rohan. Its good as far as F2Ps go, but not worth any actual time.

Its pretty average at best. Graphics are alright for a F2P game, but its a pretty generic grinding mmo.

Rohan looked good, had a friend on GW telling me to try it for quiet a while now. I might have to look into it if GW 2 don't come out soon!

Well, it was pretty cool. Although, it's another one of those kind that you download for hours and never touch it.

I quit because it was very confusing and I didn't know what to do next once I got to the main land/area.

I've looked at their home page for a bit and it looks interesting but my one question is, do they have NPC henchmen that can join your party? I loathe looking for groups after getting used to Hench/Heroes for 4 years.

Downloading it now. I got suspicious about it's quality as soon as I read that a certain class gains experience by killing other players, as well as quests/monsters. I have a feeling that it will just end up as everyone else has mentioned, play it for a day then never touch it again. We'll see, maybe I'm just being overly negative since every free MMO I've tried has been a ripoff of either Lineage 2 or WoW with some lame item mall.

This and Dungeon Runner should be able to keep me entertained until Guild Wars 2, why not, you know its free.

but the only thing that i just realise that was written boldly in a speacial box that pops up, was that i have to re download the game after March 11.... when the game is launch. but the character that we have created won't be wiped.

anyway, nice graphic for the background and stuffs, I don't think this game has z axis, and its pretty lame that all the character classes have the same facial features with different skin/texture map onto them.

Yeah, that is pretty lame when everyone looks like a clone. Have you tried Perfect World before? The graphics are great, the community is decent, and the character customization is miles ahead of many MMOs. It's like Oblivion almost, you can adjust ever aspect of your character. It's still your typical free MMO but it'll likely hold you longer than others will. The grind isn't terrible either, when I first started playing level 24 came in two days since quests give good experience.

lol, apparently theres a lot of players playing this game!

although the facial features are limited, the armors are varied.

and i think i just experience the what we would call "world pvp" in Guild Wars 2. theres an announcement that "xx town" is being invaded by invaders and there's like loads of players show up to fight off these invaders.

its actually fun.

the only thing they do not have is a story line. it would be perfect if they have an introduction like guild wars has. and not jump into the game with a tutorial of how to kill xx numbers of creatures to get xx rewards. without any background informations, making the whole thing a grind fest. also there's not primary quests and mission. nothing to carry you thru the game, all the quests are, go collect 10 paws, or killl 20 xx creatures. reminds me of WoW starting area.

I think they also celebrated christmas as I see some players already have witches and Santa's hat, also some players are not of human form, suggesting somekind of tonic that could transform your characters. and there are pets that could boost your speed.

I just couldn't understand why they don't put this together with a good storyline, it would have make the whole thing so much nicer. It has beautiful scenery/backgrounp graphic. beautiful weaponry, nice fighting animation, the dances are meh (only one but comes with music) i am thinking they plan to sell dances move on their item mall or whatever.

Over all for the Free to play part is enough for me at this moment.

and the community is not that bad either, its easy to pug, the game is easy to learn. players will buff you if they sees run pass you or see you running pass.

hrmz, forgot about the RMT people in this game, i don't think they started to enforce anything about this problem yet, as anyone can download the game make an instant character and go to the portal where there are more populations, they practically just stand there and put on some spamming script.

I also only just now found out that in Rohan, if you team up with other players, your experience points will double/triple depending on how many players you have in your party. (not sure how big is the max size of party).

Also just now found out what the HitList is for lol, i think this is fun.

PS: don't forget to check out the fishing hole haha, i've always wander why MMORPG need to have fishing activities.
